by During the 7 day exchange visit to Portugal held from April 26th until 2nd May 2022, representatives of the project partner organizations had the opportunity to gain insight into experiences of the Portugese partner and also youth employment in the tourism sector in general. Topics which were addressed during the exchang visit were:
- Training for youth workers in the area of hospitality, culture and tourism in increasing capacities, competencies and skills of youth
- Organized visit to local entities relevant in the field of tourism
- Linking youth and cultural and tourism employers – applied methods
- Experiences in different approaches (internships, job shadowing, trainings, etc)
- Experiences in the creation of the Mobility Friends Campus – partner experience exchange
The exchange visit was also an opportunity for the 20 participants to become familiar with the beutiful country and culture through visiting important tourism sites and attractions.
Experiences of the host partner˝Mobility Friends˝were presented to partners regarding their first steps in creating the MF campus, organizational issues, networking, logistical aspects of running the campus and much more useful information.
Participants were from all of the project partner organizations consisting of CSO management, youth worker, and most importantly young members who are the future of the organizations and who used the opportunity to obtain new knowledge and aquaintances.
The next project activity is an exchange visit to Lithuania regarding youth employment in the IT sector.
